Default I saw the Dalai Lama this week

    hey guys.

one benefit of working dayshift during the week days, is that I can meet up with friends and attend daytime meetings/gatherings.

a special one was this week, with the Dalai Lama visiting the south Bay area.

I scrambled to find tickets, finding ones that were marked up to $150 and deciding that was not spiritual to sell a scalped ticket. so, back to our pachi finder (craigslist) and found some at face value.

took my wife, my mother in law (a business woman who was willing to drop everything to see the Dalai Lama) and myself.

He was amazing. not for what he said, but for his presence and wisdom.

I highly recommend seeing him if you have a chance. his words and advice are universal to all humans.

Ahhh, but for Chinese people, the number 8 is the lucky one, so I have many pachi's to collect before I get 88 of them
