    better yet..

one of the guys i work with is named Rob.. his sister in law saw an ad on craigs list for an english Bulldog..

the long and short of the ad was.. that they were moving out of the country and needed someone to adopt the dog from them on short notice... (well i knew where this was going already)..

she made a hasty reply and waited.. well to her surprise she got a reply... but the people had already moved out of the country and had to take the dog with them... the poor dog was in a kennel and she was really looking for someone to adopt the poor thing..

for the low price of only $600.00 she would ship the dog back to the us for her... well she could not afford the 600 dollars.. then the lady replied again... she would pay $350 of the money herself if the sister in law would pay 250.00 .. the owner just wanted to see that the bully got a good home...

well thats a whole nother story.. so she ran down to the local money gram and sent her $250.00 dollars to Nigeria

needless to say it has been a few days and she is still waiting at her front porch for her new Dog

never thought i would know anyone that could get caught up in one of these scams..

i've run into those dog scams on sites listing breeders.they pose as legitimate dog breeders here in the u.s.,but they want you to send your money to liberia.yeah,right.what the deal was ,is that the breeder has no more pups available, but the last one was sold to a reverend who just left the country to do some missionary work in africa, and had to bring his dog with him.he couldn't keep the dog over there, and he would give it away for free if the taker paid 350.00 for shipping.

Ive been following the way these internet scams have been adapting for the past few years
and one thing that i have noticed is that the wording and English used is improving.

the stories they choose to take your money have become more realistic

looks like there is money being made if they are still keeping at it and improving their work..

things were so much simpler in the old days..

Very simple way to avoid all the %&^$&$&$$spammers , Mark as spam and don't even open the email an d Really don't open attachments with an unknown e-mail .

For animal adoption get a mixed breed for health reasons (the pet will have a stronger antibodies and more often than not a nice demenor. ) from the local animal shelter

They even now have Horses for adoption
