New user questions

I have recently purchased my first pachislo machine (I did not even know they were called pachislo) But it was cheap and good condition - 20 bucks including tokens - so what the heck. Maybe someone could help with a few questions?

1) First, can anyone tell me a close make/model for future reference?



2) What are the two switches in this pic for?



3) There are two fluorescent bulbs as shown below. One is on the lower door also. They weren't lit and I assumed they should always be on. After replacement still not working. Should they be on to begin with? If so, is there a switch or anything easy to check?

Two switches on the power supply:
- One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
- The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position. The for off and on are:

無 = off

有 = on

the bottom bellyglass one should be lite all the time,

the top bulb may only be setup to light during bonus rounds.

reseat the connections at both ends of the wiring.

Welcome to PachiTalk. $20 including tokens is a great deal. Now you'll just have to get a newer pachislo with an LCD screen for your next one.

The Bulbs...The Photo you show is the Bulb at the top and Should illuminate the Marquee(Magnitude sign) and the reels. If it's not lighting, Check to see if there is a "Starter" required in the transformer(follow the wires). The starter will look like a 1 inch beer can and can be removed by turning it 1/4 turn to the left.

If there is a starter required...make sure you get the right one to replace it. (F10T8)

@Youngjedi - the bulbs are still not working so I`ll check for starters - maybe this weekend I`ll get a moment.
