What are these red Pachislo tokens?

This ad on Craigs shows red tokens in the tray. anyone ever see these before? Are they metal or plastic?

Probably older ones that have the nickel worn off or tarnished brass ones

I think Dawn is correct. A lot of those machines have lenses above the tray that birect the light from the belly light into the tray. On of my Yamasa's has a reversed "Yamasa" on a lens that displays as a reflection at the bottom of the tray when it is empty.

I once did find a colored token in an old machine I purchased. It was the standard nickel-plated type with a plastic inlay on either side that held to name and logo of the parlor. Every once in a while I'll come across it while playing.
