    Default Coins getting stuck

Just picked this one up! Has several issues...Bad Lock, Error code no key (got that fixed ) and the main problem, coin slot problems. I've never needed to make a coin adjustmest, so I'm looking for some advise. Do I need to remove everything? Is there some sort of adjustment screw?
    Any help would be GREAT!

Try a good cleaning and then try specific tokens, could be sensitive to size

    ゲゲゲの鬼太郎

    Gegege no Kitaro ?

    Based on an Anime

    Sammy site

    Another site

Best I can find is it was released 01/2000

YJA search for 'ゲゲゲの鬼太郎' in all of YJA

YJA search in just Pachinko and Pachislo

    Enough links to follow?

The "slide" for tokens has a spring load of some sort. I was thinking about removing it to clean the track, but I didn't want to mess things up more

There should be an electro-magnet to allow the coins to flow, maybe it's not working? When you turn it on, does it click? It should also click after you've inserted at least 3 coins and hit the start lever (start the reels spinning, so it can't accept any more tokens).

From looking at your second picture, the first token seems to be behind the second one. Do they stick if you put them in one at a time or if you 'speed load' them?

There is a electro-magnet and it just "popped" when I touched the wire! It seems that there is a bad connection between the magnet and the board. I take it, that magnet is what allows the tokens to pass?
Let me mess with the wires and report back!

Yes, as far as I know, when the solenoid is energized, the tokens pass through to the sensors and ultimately the hopper.

In this photo, behind the coin, there was a business card jammed in there (you can see some of the paper to the right). I removed it thinking that was the problem...Now, it seems that there is a magnetic charge and the coins just stop at this point. Is this possible or was the card there to allow the coins to slide better?

The tokens shouldn't have any iron in them. Perhaps that paper was put there to bypass the bad solenoid?

it sounds like this machine was altered to be able to use quarters which are slightly smaller most likely that's the reason the card was in there to prevent them from falling through to the tray and allowing them to go pass the coin sensor on the other side . i suggest you try a few quarters you'll probably find they fit through easily . they may have adjusted the coin mech as well so now your tokens wont fit through causing the jam up.

You are correct, I just never thought to check the size!

I got this pachi with a package deal...More news on that tomorrow (many new games)! This one will be given away if I can change the lock out and make it "original"!

    Cool Re: Coins getting stuck

Your coin mech is unfamiliar to me but your last photo shows two tokens overlapping, indicating the opening is not only stopping the coins for some reason but it is also too wide if it allows the tokens to overlap.

I also had a machine that had a coin mech someone had adjusted for 'something other than tokens.' It took a lot of playing with, and a little frustration to get it right. Fortunately, it was just adjusting track width, etc, but it took a lot of uninstalling/reinstalling to get it right. My current machines have no obvious adjustability in the coin mechs. I think I like that better.
