It’s Been a few years

It’s been a few years ,

But I need to set it straight .

Christmas has gotten crazy ,

I hope its not to late !!!

The season has changed

to gluttony and greed.

On this I’m sure

That most would agree.

The commercials started

before Halloween night.

Christmas carols that soon

Are really a fright !!!

Santa is dieting

By order of the A.M.A.

Shed the weight now ,

Or lose your Holiday !!!

Pies, cakes and cookies

without a trace of trans fats.

No one will eat them

Not even the Rats !!

The kids stockings are hung

By the chimney with care.

Filled with carrot sticks and rice cakes

That taste like stale air….

The elves are at the bar

Their all getting lit…

Replaced by the angels

From Victoria’s Secret.

The Reindeer are free

Due to protests from P.E.T.A.

Santa will deliver this year

In a shiny new Kia….

If this sounds good

And it makes sense to you.

May your mistle toe shrivel,

And your cranberries turn blue !!!

Christmas was perfect

The way it had been.

No changes were needed

By angels or men.

An old fashion Christmas

I wish un to you.

May your family be healthy,

And your wishes come true .
