I remember we had TV's (black and white) brought into several of our class rooms in JR High and we watched it all.

It was an amazing time!

I was glued to the TV whenever there was an Apollo mission

I saw it on a B/W Magnavox TV! The kind that had a turntable built into the top right and a radio on the top left. I was 7 and all I wanted to do was trade my place on the couch with Neil Armstrong.

I was 4 when this happened but it is on my mom's birthday.

I don't know the day they left, but I was on the Delta Queen riverboat going up the Mississippi with my family when they landed. All the adults were watching the fuzzy tv pictures and the kids were afraid they were going to cancel bingo that night!

I was 11 years old and at the south /west side of Milwaukee,Wisconsin when the Lovell landed the Eagle on the moon 5 miles off target . I remember every manned space flight in the 1960's the teachers would have all the students gather around the T.V. . It was weird when Gus Grissom messed up on the splash down recovery and sunk the space capsule . The teachers didn't know what to say except go back to your classrooms
