    Default Moving photos between Albums

I created a new album. I want to move a photo from one album to another. How is this done?

    Thanks,

I'm not sure that can actually be done as such...

I know you can add photos to Social Groups, but I have found no way to move them to other albums,

Only way I can see at the moment is to re-upload from your computer into your new album, if you still have it stored on your computer, if not then re-copy it from your PT album, (then you could delete the pic from your old album)

I have checked User CP and that only has attachments used in Posts stored there

Hopefully, 'the man in the know' will tell us

    Angie, is right,

Unfortunately the Album has a couple of limitations
    1) setting the order of the images
    2) moving images from one album to the other

im sure there are a couple more issues but they havent come up yet.

Cool, I can just delete from one and re-upload to the other.

Just curious, Sid, how much drive space does PachiTalk take up? Must be at least 100gig. ??

    1 Million GIGABYTES!!!

In reality PT is a fine tuned machine, since most of the site is text and it works on a clever system of templates the actual disk space needed for the site itself is minimal. The bulky part of the site is the avatars, the attached pics etc i go through the attachments and take out anything that doesn't need to be there. we are currently sitting at the 15gig mark our ceiling is 20 and then we have to change plans. we recently upgraded to our current levels a few months ago when we were experiencing the random service disruptions.. since the upgrade things have been going smoothly..

Wow... that's a bit less than I expected it to take. Here at Noble we have two computer rooms, one for business IT and one for Geological/Drilling Technical Computing. The business IT has about 6 terrabytes of storage while the Technical Computing group with all their 3-D seismic data has close to a PetraByte.

My current project is establishing a full Disaster Recovery for all this data and software. We've discovered in this project that we update/add about 20gig of data per DAY!

Keep up the good work, I know it takes a lot of your time!

When you click on one of your pictures, you'll see an option at the bottom to 'edit picture'. In the edit picture window, there's a 'move to album' box on the right, under the caption box.
    Gotta catch 'em all Pa-chink-o
