The new Company is Trying to hire as many of the original workers as possible to make "their" transition as painless as possible for Them. But being a Government contract, The screening of the employee's is vicious. Some of the things I work on are classified so I am under the microscope.

yes,that totally sucks.i hope that in your job search you will find a way better job than what you had before.it happened to me before,it could also happen for you.it seems that companies are trying to save money these days,so they would send out white slips because white paper is less expensive than pink.cheap f##kers.

Actually I would rather stay right where I am. It's only a 9 mile round trip to work and back. The new Company also is supposed to have better Benefits.

I was an ASE Master Tech for Good Year making ALLOT more $$$ than I am now. Back problems made me quit that job. Can't stay bent over a hood for too long or work on a car up on a lift under it with head tilted up or arms stretched over my head for any length of time anymore.

I had it for Many years while in the NAVY and still hold it to this day in Silly - Villion life.

It's so High up there the Defense Department, FBI, CIA, Homeland Security and NSA know that I can be trusted no matter who I associate with.

I had top secret clearance during 1963-65 working at the Pentegon while in the army

they should hire people who have clearances already, its a long process to get the clearance.
