well so far, this is my first day on this site and I have been wanting to learn how to repair the skill stop machines. I guess the first question I have is what are the 2 small switches near the reset key hole with Japanese writing on them ? they don't seem to do anything but I'm sure they do...Thanks and sorry I don't know much but I wanna learn...

Most commonly, the two small switches are for the hopper and how the machine will react after a big bonus.
If you have your machine on, and you flip one switch, You hopper may begin to shoot out tokens. If you want to try this ... go ahead, but be ready with a container or something to catch the tokens.
The other switch may handle the way Big Bonus runs will end. Normally, after getting a big bonus, The machine will go back to normal play and you can continue on. If you flip the switch, The big bonus will end normally, but will not allow you to play again until the machine has been reset. It's a parlor option.
Post a photo of your switches, and someone can chime in to verify if I got the info correct for you.

Thanks bro...My machines work fine but I really wanna learn to tinker with them..(I'm laid off) I just posted an ad on craigslist looking for a non-working machine and hope to be able to use this site with help working on one when I get it...

Not True ! I have 4 Pachislo's and about 6 months ago 2 Federal officers and 1 Local Police Officer (In an unrelated matter ) were in my Apt and saw the Pachislo and didn't say that they were Illegal to own privately .

Now to sell them in this state you need a California pachislo Certificate ($500 Per Year) and the Federal certificate is Free

Just so there is no confusion, Pachislos Are illegal to own in California without a license unless laws have recently been changed!!!

California Penal Code Sec. 330b.

We've had members lose their machines..BE CAREFUL and think twice before you list them on Cragslist in that state..THEY seem to like watching there!!
