Default Las Vegas Playboy Bunny/Roulette Machine

This sure looks cool! Also looks as if they took a Twist and converted it to this theme???

Oooops, should have looked there! Anyhow, one nice machine, but I've always been tempted by the Twist anyway with that jukebox look. About what price has this machine gone for in the past?

I've never heard great reviews of either the Twist or Las Vegas. The Twist usually can be had around $200 to $225 and the Las Vegas usually goes for $280 and up and up.

It's just one of my things. Someday would like to get a bubble type original Wurlitzer juke for the game room. Would like to have it loaded with oldies. :smt034 The Twist machine and this Las Vegas machine remind me of that look.

I love the look too. I used to watch the twist auctions and they always went for much more than I wanted to pay. I'm basically cheap and hate to pay a lot for slots. The more I heard about them the less I wanted to get one.

Same with me. I was watching for a Twist for a long time. Actually won one from MidOhio Slots at a very good price. Then they said they noticed a crack in the glass and thought it would break in shipping, so they backed out of the sale. Since I've never seen real "glass" on one of these, I assume they found a local buyer willing to pay more. That was the last MidOhio auction that I bid on.

In the mean time, no one really had much nice to say about the Twist, so I stopped looking.

I bow to the above thoughts on this. Unless I find one cheap somewhere am not going to pursue this one for now. Thanks for the input!

Now about that Wurlitzer juke with the oldies...

Find a look-a-like that will use an cd player with mp3 capability. You can store thousands of mp3's on a few cd's. Probably a lot cheaper than the 45 playing juke box.

Even a "MINI" Wurlitzer CD player might be fun! 8-) I saw one of these in person, and they are pretty cool. The bubbles work great on it.

Negative on the Christmas bubble lights, but my wife does set up 7 Christmas trees inside the house every year. Living room, study, family room, downstairs, etc. I love it, but it's a lot of work. She loves it more, I suppose, or she wouldn't do it.

Hey, maybe I should buy some of those lights and have her do one tree like that! Yep, that's the ticket! :-P

Ive had a few twist machines ove rthe last year, i wouldnt reccomend it as its pretty boring. The only neat things about it are the look, the light up top, and the real music it plays!

me, I find them, for how it sounds, cool and the play is great for the young or those of us who remember real rock and roll, bobby socks, DAs.

Twist is pretty plain as far as play goes... three reels and a spinning red light when a bonus is due. Some like that... just look at most standard Vegas reel slots. It's one of the few I've modded with an auto-stop without really affecting the play. It gives it that Vegas feel that some people want.

The selling point is it's looks and music. For a music themed gameroom, Twist (and maybe Hound Dog) isn't a bad choice at all. "Rock Around the Clock", "Diana", and "Oh, Carol" are the songs it plays... all licensed!

It's not that bad for a "one-slot" gameroom, or maybe for a music room next to your sound system. I've even thought about wiring a portable CD player into the speakers, after an amp and isolation, and just have it play oldies when it's not being used. 8-)
