Spin Luck back in action!!

Well, today I went to see Dattia and her family, and picked up my Spin Luck. For those that don't know, My SL was not working, so I posted on here that I was looking for someone who could look at it for me. alstonj1 said that he would look at it, if I could get it to Dattia. She picked it up from me before Christmas, and alstonj1, picked it up at her house. It was fixed and returned to Dattia, and she kept it safe for me until I could pick it up.

We had lunch and spent awhile talking, and than after a stop at the QVC store, headed home. The SL is now saftly in my room, and I have already hit 1 big bonus and 5 Spin Lucks, 3 of which I banked. I am now ready to continue the quest for the 7777 thanks to alstonj1 and Dattia.

It was a pleasure to be able to help Willie out and even more a pleasure to have a nice lunch with his family.

I have to confess that the whole time his Spin Luck was with me, I did not play it until 2 hours before he came to fetch it. That was a mistake. I enjoyed this machine for the little time I played it and wished I had been playing it all along! Obviously, she musta missed Willie's touch... she gave up nothin' for me and let it all go when she got home!

Similar thing with Arby's slots. Once I delivered them and they were home, Arby kept winning on them. He even asked if I "Loosened" the slots a bit...not possible with those...They were just happy to be home.

Dawn, it was our pleasure to have lunch with you!! You and your family are always so nice to us when we come for a visit!! I wish you would have played the SL more while you had it, but you are more than welcome to come for a visit, and play it anytime you like!!

The plastic of the spinning wheel had adhered its self to the outside plastic casing preventing it from turning at all .I had to totally disassemble the assembly and gentelly pull it apart with out ripping the wheel .luckily it came apart with no damage and works normally . Good luck with it in the future and keep it busy and it shouldn't happen again ...

Thanks Jeff. I know that must have been a job to fix, but you did an awesome job!! It makes me wonder though, what could have caused it to happen?

The disc isn't that hard to take apart. There's a couple of pieces of tape on the inside, I assume to allow it to slide better. May have come off or slipped, allowing the sticky part to stick to the wheel.
