Default "silver" orange ball lifter video

YouTube - pachinko electric ball lifter

OK, this one's a bit comical, b/c I included a couple failed attempts at "up" tubes. but, don't worry, there's plenty more junk in my garage... galvanized pipes, PVC pipes, there are big spring I bought for the ball lifter construction plans (still incubating).

great little machine. thanks compirate and arby. every pachi person should have one.

p.s. hey guys. what's the solenoid controlled metal door on the bottom? a remote empty switch? how was this used in the parlors?

i like the pachitalk ad at the end!

now run to lowes or home depot, pick up a 3/4 square tube, cut a slot in the end so it will slide down over the flanges on the ouput from the gear, tap a screw in the side so it will catch on the little lip so it will not pull off, stop at a cheap tool outlet and pick up a spring tool for bending 1/2" copper pipe twist it onto the top of the pipe and away you go!

here's my tube. i'll put either the spring that came with it or some of the corrugated plastic tube that I have to direct the flow from the top

it's gooped an braced, hopefully strong enough. it not, i'll add a knee brace to the other side of the tray to give it more strength. tonight it goes onto star wars with the pachicounter

I'd definitely hit it with a good coat of Rustoleum. Maybe even slap some naval jelly on it first to remove the majority of the rust.

yeah, i'll be cleaning it better before sending balls into the machines. just working on the mechanicals first. i'll steel wool it, rustoleum or that rust inhibitor paint, and maybe even acrylic or epoxy over it to keep it from corroding again.

should I keep it orange or paint a new color? black would blend in better. : or maybe silver, since it's called "silver", eh?

my worst pachi "incident" was when the star wars machine with the whole cabinet was loaded on top and I decided to open the front of the machine. the whole thing tipped over and I lot about 1,000 balls on the floor. luckily, I didn't break anything on the front of the machine, but I did get a pretty good bruise from it.
