Well Tyler's first round of chemo is done and should be able to go home tomorrow. He did good but this was only one chemo drug to start the protocol. Gets a little reprieve then back to the hospital. Dr. told my wife that Tyler can't go back to school. He will need to be tutored. Don't know how that is to work out.

here in Florida they have a virtual school on line. my daughter did it. they go at there own pace and a teacher grades the work. Jess finished a whole year in 3 months...

Just kind of an update. Responded well to the first weeks of chemo. So well we don't have to make a choice between the three options that we were given. Just keep on the coarse of chemo under the protocol.
Have already found out the difference with the more intensive chemo. Just done with an eight day stay at children's. It is a new precaution the hospital has been doing during certain stages of the protocol. They have him stay in patient so any infection can be dealt with quickly. I asked the reason for the change, don't like the answer I was given.
I was watching Tyler tonight. He didn't loose any hair till he had to have radiation later in his original protocol. Now he is already starting. This is the crappy time. It's when you have to have it in your face.

I will keep you all in my prayers. I know it works. Our 2 year old son that we adopted and had since birth was born extremely heroin and cocaine addicted. It has been a difficult road to say the least. However, he is doing much better. The gastrointerologist gave him a clean bill for that part of his recovery yesterday. We were told he would probably never go on his own. We know that God is the only reason. Keep the faith even during these unbelievably difficult times.
