Help needed to reset battle counter

Hi all

Please can anyone help. I have aquired 3 battle counters for my games room.

one is stuck flashing red and green, the others apear to be fine.

I am wondering how to clear the error fault on one and reset all back to zero.

Any info would be of help.

Hi,

Try holding down buttons while powering up. Could be any 1 of them or a combo. hold the button(s) down until power comes on. If the counter resets, and the condition clears then coolness !!!

If that doesn't work you will need the remote to reset it.

The connection diagram shows a push button on the harness connected to CN3 which is labelled リセットスイッチ - Reset Switch. It's really difficult to make out the kanji characters for the wire colours, but I'm guessing it's the Brown / Black pair (as the harness diagram looks very similar to the UF Marine View counter that I've got a clearer manual scan for).

I'm not sure if connecting a switch to these wires will reset the counter and/or clear the fault, but it might be worth a try.

ok,

I left the counters on all night and it looks like they have an internal timer.
When they were next powered up they zeroed and moved all readings on a day. keeping a score history .
Also they displayed a simple animation is using the bar chart LED's.( which was a surprise)

I have shorted the reset connector on (brown/black) but this dont appear to clear the red green flash error. perhaps a remote is the only solution.
