Yep, that's how I do mine. It should work for you unless something is not working right.

does the machine change at all when the key is turned to acknoledge the key movement (lights sound or what ever .) you may have a bad key switch.

Yes the reset button on the powersupply should be there to change the
settings , there are other machines I believe it was Devil May cry and Spiderman 2 (but I`m not sure ) who uses the reset button as setting button also.

My reset button does not change the settings ? either my Tomb Raider has some problems or I have to change it otherwise.

    Thanks

The key works great but the hopper don`t I got a strong believe that
this problem is located in the pcb`s inside this machine.

I don`t have a good working Eleco hopper to compare so it could also been caused by a non working hopper ..

sounds more like it isn't going into the odds setting mode there should be a big difference when your key is turned and when its turned back it should set the machine for running mode . doesn't sound like yours is doing that .

Yes as soon as I turn the key back it goes into the running mode.

    Hi Johntofva,
Nope, I watched inside the powersuply and searched for broken fuses, all seems to be ok .

Well I got so many new machines who have to be transfered to 220 volts and tested so I left this one in the corner untill I got more time to try to fix this, anyway it is a great machine and lots of fun to play

    Regards Dragonfly.
