Default hanabi lights up but thats about it

Total newbe here but i have extensive video arcade knowledge.

so i have no time to mess with this thing right now because I am getting married this weekend but...

Some guy here has been asking me to look at his slot machine called hunabi make by a company named universal

he has no keys but showed me how to reach up inside and open up the door. It was not working when he got it.

when you turn it on the lights come on, no noises, nothing moves.

if you put a token threw the coin mech you get 2 leds that light up on the main circuit board near the top of the machine. but no sounds and nothing comes up on what i think is the credit display. nothing is on any display with the door open or closed.

There seems to be a prox switch that tells the machine the door is closed and that triggers an led on the main board.

there are 2 switches on the power supply that when you move them led's on that same circuit board will turn on or off.

There is a 6 wire set harness that hangs down to the overflow hole on the bottom but from the little i have found on this so far i think it goes to the overflow bucket and dose not need to be pluged in for the machine to work,

so what should this thing do when it is turned on? anything.

what else can you tell me about it?
What type of machine is it?

I'm just trying to help out this guy and thank you for your time

well after i took the time to type that up i found that the connection to the handle on that circuit board that it plugs into was bent up. i bent it back into place and it made a proper connection (perhaps it was sorted) and now it works fine. well none of the lcd displays seem to be working correctly but the machine works now and he is happy with it.
