    i've used the aluminum metal duct tape (from lowes or home depot) with great success. you tape it on, rub the high spots, then use a sharp knife to cut away the extra, a quick polish after and it's very hard to tell you did it!

    That looks great! I'd rather have the original chrome appearance than painting it some other color. I feel it wouldn't look as good and wouldn't match the rest of the cell.

    I like the Idea, I have been just masking certain areas and Painting my bad frames for a while, Usually in an aircraft aluminum paint and then doing a couple of coats of fine metalic flake from a can, but you need artificial light to make them look good. I did an OLD rizmu bros machine recently for donation in white to offset the black and yellow theme using the same metal flake and it turned a Pearl creme color. It was an accident but it looked pretty good.
