Gamera High Grade Got Me Stuck... Help Me Please!!!

Hello there,
I have a small problem with figuring out Gamera HGV. I don't understand the fighting sequences. Why does Gamera loose so often? Sometimes after one blow he allready goes down, and i guess i have to hit the enemy around 3 or more times. This seems almost impossible at times. Does this work with certain combinations you have to make, when you have to attack and when to evade? Does anybody know these combinations? Love the machine though... very good indeed.

You don't have any control wether Gamera wins or loses. Its a slot machine, hes going to lose most of the time.Just sit back and enjoy the monster battles and other video surprises. If he always won it would be like that Twilight Zone episode where the guy thought he was in heaven because he couldn't lose.

Ah ok...
i thought it could have been helped by trying to get some symbols lined up or something. But i guess that is not like that. Thanks for your info.

I thought the same thing too when I got mine.

There is one time that I feel I do have some control. When Gamera is standing in front of you waiting for you to get the bonus (usually the three black bars), I have been able to get the 777 once, and the Blue Gameras 3 times now. It's hard, and you have to do it early on or he will automatically give you the three black bars eventually.

It is a great machine though.
