Default Getting rid of token play?

My question may have been answered before, I hope not. I see lots of ways to add credits via a switch or auto stop. Is there any way to get rid of tokens all together. Can you make a skill stop, play via credit and pay out credit only.? This would make it more of a total free play.

not necessarily it can be accomplished and if done right could give the sound illusion of coins falling all you have to do is trick the machine into thinking its paying off .the theory is to use a 24volt motor (a hopper motor would work )and attach an arm to the motor with a piece of plastic to go through the payout sensor to fool the machine to think tokens are passing into the tray .also attach a token to the end of the arm loosely (such as drilling a hole through the center and placing a screw through the center and placing a nut before and after the arm to allow the token to move freely to resonate when it hits . ) then place another stationary arm before the sensor just with in the token path to serve two functions to strike the token to give the effect of token falling in the tray .and second function is to provide resistance when the power is shut off from the board to stop the "hopper" motor .This is needed because some machines will error out if more than the payout is detected . it shouldn't take to much work to modify a machine to do the above since all the parts and wiring are already in the machine .Just a little ingenuity and drive would work to get it done . then all you need is a credit add board to put in credits and you have the equivalent of todays credit card slot with printer reciepts......And if you want to restore the machine back to the original setup just unplug and remove your mod and plug the old hopper back in .if the hopper is removed and the shute is blocked it should be ok with most states to operate as an amusement device since it doesnt pay out .its nothing more than a cherrymaster at this point
