    Talking Re: Direct Gaming Intl.

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't been posting much, TOO BUSY PLAYING!
I just wanted to let everyone know that the volume controls that DGI is selling on EBAY, are GREAT! I put a 2 channel volume control on my Julie Pinball, removing those small little pots that I had originally installed and WOW what a difference! These volume controls can handle the Lumina Frame sound with no problem where the small pots would get hot and not handle a decent controlled volume. These controls are a definite MUST HAVE for the Lumina Games.
Oh, I also won a Star Wars Pachinko today from DGI also! I Finally got one! This is #19 for the modern machines and I am definitly OUT OF ROOM! But I am still waiting to get a "Densha de Go 2" when they finally arrive here.
I still need more balls! Keep em coming DGI!
Oh, by the way, did I ever mention that I LOVE MY MACHINES!!!

I am sorry to say that my Julie the Pinball has burned up two of these volume controls. I don't know what to do!
This is getting rediculous! There has to be a way to safely silence these machines to a tolerable level. HELP!

This is not the best idea but it works for me, I have 2 volume pots in a row on each speaker on my Julie as it has smoked 3 sets in the past. this works as I turn both down a small amount so the heat is spread out instead of getting just one hot. A resister in line with a volume makes more sense but I am lazy and this works so far.

Might I suggest the 10 watt wirewound power resistors from the local Radio Shack? Four 50-ohms brought Aladdin back to a reasonable volume for me. (And for the wife, who occasionally likes to do things like watch TV...)

I just picked up a Speed Racer last weekend that had no volume controls. I installed these resistors and they worked great. Now I can use the factory switch on low for quiet play or move it to medium for party time and the sound level is perfect.
