As i drove to the Motel, i kept running the case through my head.

what could this mysterious Stuey Character have under his hat.. or more importantly his lost hat. i knew i was in for a long one, its never easy, the mysterious messages these cases are always the hardest to crack. i stepped on the gas, my 74 monaco knew the drill the sooner we got to the corner of Fairmont and Edmonson the quicker we's get to the bottom of this case.

Something wasnt adding up.

was it the Lost time, or the lost hat.

This stuey would have a lot of explaining to do. I knew there was more to this then a story about a lost hat.

Im sure there was a Dame involved, it was a hunch but like all my hunches it was never far from the truth. theres always a broad, one of those women that chew you up and spit you out. a sultry voice and curves the ones that would make an S jealous, there was always one.
id seen it one to many times, Love deceit , waking up the next morning in an empty room, a broken heart and an empty wallet. the empty bottle on the dresser and the 2 glasses on the nightstand.

i was almost at the Woolly Squirrel motel, we'd soon get to the bottom of this mystery of the lost hat.....
