on eof 2 problems there rod first one is they may have left the dump bar open the one you open to empty the payout hopper prier to moving the machine or it is trying to catch up on payouts from where it was played with the hopper empty as it has a memory for what it needs to pay out so if you look here it will tell you where the tank empty switch is on page 7 of the manual

if that dosent work then you need to keep pouring balls in till it stops paying them out as it is trying to catch up on payouts

to clean the sell you need a dry clean cloth if you do a serch under cell cleaning there are a few options discused including getting a pica cell cleaner
My rice krispies told me to do it

As the Doc said, it's probably trying to catch up on payouts. Either keep feeding it balls until it stops, or reset the machine by holding in the reset button (next to the power switch) for about five seconds when turning the machine on.

For cleaning, I use novus 2 plastic polish, as that's what I have on hand for cleaning my pinball machines, and it seems to work well.

Other Sankyo game cells that will fit the Victory case are...

Any particular reason why? I'd be careful about using it on some of the painted plastics (and definitely not on reels!), but I find that it does a really good job on the cell itself once the cell has been stripped down (ie just the nails and wood). And for shining up and removing scratches in the screen cover and transparent plastic mouldings (ie the rear ball paths etc).

Of course this only applies for modern machines where the cell graphics are screen printed onto a plastic laminate surface on top of the wood, and not for vintage machines.

As DR stated there is a ball dump lever, mine was in the dump position and when I put in balls they fell straight through. Mine was labeled open and closed i moved lever to closed position and was able to fill fine. If the balls dump out the front while on it is doing the payout catchup. these are great robust machines and will work reliably for many years.

That's the stuff I use. Don't use the novus 3 on anything with artwork on it, as it's quite abrasive, and is likely to take the ink off, but it's excellent as a first step if you've got scratches in solid colour plastics, or on the cover over the screen (needs to be followed by novus 2 to bring it back to a shine though).

I use novus 2 on the nails and cell artwork, and on solid plastic parts or where the paint coating is thick (be careful as it might take off some paints), and novus 1 is good for a quick wipe over to bring back the shine.

I'll leave someone else to recommend what to use on the reels (if they need cleaning!), I'm happy using novus 1 to clean reels on UK fruit machines, but I don't own any pachis with reels so don't want to recommend something I've never tried myself.

is the novus 1 a wax then? I know 3 and 2 are polish like rubbing compound. I found a 3M optical polish for clearing haze and fine scratches at auto parts stores.
