Tony said that a few people here have been asking about me, because they haven't seen me on a lot lately, and he said that I needed to post to let everyone know I'm still alive. Yes all, I'm alive and well; just been busy helping my friend do the yard work (leaves are a PITA) and all the other things that have to be done in life.

I still manage to play the Spin Luck every day for at least a little bit and I still plan on being the first here to get the 7777.

So thanks to all that asked about me. No need to worry though, you won't get rid of me THAT easy!!

Oh, I've got leaves. When you've finished with yours, you can come over and help me with mine. The crew that cuts my grass says they do the leaves after they've all fallen...in the meantime, yuk

I think Willie made a mistake in his post.. He meant to say My neighbor comes by and drags me out everyday for a few minutes to help him do yard work so that the Spinluck can have a few minutes a day to recoperate from Willie's 7777 quest.

I have 40 trees on my property along with another nearly 40 bushes. Leaves are a LOT of work to mulch up. But, still, I am not complaining.

AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love my oak trees. They are 35 to 40 feet tall and about 200 years old. But I do have a confession to make. I do not rake my leaves up. I just run over them with the mower.

My question is, why can't the leaves just evaporate after they change color? It would make things MUCH easier.

but think of the downside it would have on the economy for the young kids who make a living() raking leaves etc...

Leaves, sheesh I have about 14-15 acres of trees, 2-3 lawn, I only chop them up and gather them to use as mulch and garden compost There is no way I could keep the lawn clear in the fall I only want the nice dirt they will become. If you use mover to cut shaggy leaf filled yard the mix of green grass clippings and dead leaves do composes rather intensely. steam will come from the compost heap.
I only try to keep the hottub and deck cleared off.
