Yeah I agree. But before you date the daughter you've got to check out her parents.

And you call yourselves Pachi-enthusiasts! All machines are beautiful, in there own way! For shame!

Ah, no! Some machines are just ugly. But like ugly members of the family you love them all for what they are, as they have other virtues to appreciate.

I would like to know exactly how this is played, it looks like it is played sorta like Majhong with matching up balls and slots. sorta like I bet I can land one here.
Any one actually know what the game play is like?

From what I can tell, I'm pretty sure the gameplay on these are not like the "Mah-Jong" game as it is more commonly known i.e. Shanghai, i.e. the tile matching game. The gameplay is the "real" Mah Jong which makes the gameplay MUCH more interesting. For those who are not familiar with the real Mah Jong...it's similar to Gin Rummy, where you win by completing subsets of tiles within your hand.

The rules vary from region to region, but based on my knowledge of the real game, I would assume they let you shoot 13 or 14 balls to "randomly" create your initial hand....where, the tiles you get in your hand of 13 tiles depends on where the balls landed. The real game proceeds by taking turns with each player picking up one tile at a time, incorporating that into your hand if you want, and tossing one tile out. It appears instead of drawing a tile, you shoot a pachinko ball and get the one you may want at the bottom of the playfield. It's not clear if you get to choose which tile you discard or if you also shoot a pachinko and the ball forces you to discard wherever it lands.
This would make this machine a very involved game...much more than just holding the shooter at your sweet spot and hoping to hit a fever round, that's for sure! It would be a lot of fun, once you got past the rules.

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum
