    Default Confused?

    Hi,

I hate to keep posting questions but it seems that I just can stop myself!
I've been reading up on cabinets and I am a little confused!!!

I should have a galaxy railways pachinko by tuesday hopefully, and I was just wondering do I need to have a cabinet?

Could someone explain to me (and maybe even with some pictures) what a pachinko looks from behind! I am very confused.

Also do all balls really just drop behind, is there a simple way to chaneg this or not.

Thank you everyone for all your help, it is reallys is easy to get an answer quickly!

well you really dont need a cabinet, you can have your Pachinko on feet.
I am sure the vendor you purchased from will include feet...

as for the balls Yes they do roll out the back. if you put a container of some sort you can catch the balls there and use them when you run out in the shooter tray.

you can change this but it requires minor surgery to the machine... depending on the machine it can be minor or major surgery.

and here is what the back of a pachinko machine looks like

No you don't need a cabinet. You can simply put feet on it, usually a 1x4x12 block of wood will work.

A pachinko is open in the back and it's all of the electronics and mechanics that make it work.

Yes, the balls simply drop out of the back. Depending on who you purchased it from, they should provide something to catch the balls in, but if not, a simple tupperware bowl 2 to 3 inches high and 9 to 12 inches long should work fine.

Also steve did have some cabinets (MDF) if you were thinking of putting one in a cabinet. He was selling these with the Star Wars Pachinko. If he still has one listed - you would be able to see the pictures

I bought one for myself, but have since had a more compact cabinet with a drawer made for the wall, as this suited my living room.

It all depends on your choice - I have 3 with Legs also

As the guys above have said Steve will include legs. I think if you are wanting an MDF cabinet he charges around £40.00 for these (unless you are buying a Star Wars where he includes it in the price). I have 4 pachinkos all from Steve & got legs with them all & have none in cabinets at the moment.

a cabinet is handy if you are short on space and want to wall hang your machines it also quietens the noise from the crashing balls quite alot
My rice krispies told me to do it
