5000 Yen? $42.50? That's a pretty good price vs what we pay. It all of course depends on the title but an average machine would be about 13,000.

A Harley Davidson would average about 129,000. A spin luck, another 70,000.

Azlew thanks for the invite. And again thank you to all. I was playing in the gamecenter. My wife won't let me go to the parlors. And I doubt they'd let my friend record me on a winning machine in the Parlor. But I doubt they can stop the multitude of camera phones here in Japan anyway. As for my world
you can check it out here: Jinuri Hokan Keikaku

And I think there is a link in my signature to my personal site.

Well, the rule in Japan is that Parlors only use a machine for about 6mos. I believe, then little shops and gamecenters pick them up. When they get tired of them it becomes trash. They need to move them out quick to make room for newer machines. So they sell dirt cheap, or if you are lucky they'll thank you for just taking it away. Saves the time of having to recycling it.

    Cheers!

Well, Cutie Honey screens/roms are still commanding a good price.

I can barely afford this addiction here, I'm sure my major expense if I lived there would be the size of the place I would need to contain everything, since space is expensive and the machines aren't!
