If my grandfather was still on this earth, I would snatch it up in a heartbeat!!! the man sold and serviced arcade, pinball, pool tables for 30yrs.

Unfortunately I was too much of a D.A. and always said "no grandpa I can't help you with that machine tonite, I'm busy." what was I busy with? Not a dang thing. Just pure stupidity.

And if I would have spent time with him, I could have carried on his dream and make as much as I do now but without having to pay 20 some thousand for college so I could make the $$$ Plus I could have been my own boss...

Im sure we all have some regrets on things we would have wished to have spent more time doing and learning...

Sid hit it right on the money, Mike. When we're young we think we know everything there is to know.

Then as we really begin to mature, we realize we didn't know beans.

I had a similar opprotunity to learn from a true master how to repair and rebuild pipe organs while I was in high school, but didn't want to be bothered, too much like (gulp!) work!

    What is that old saying?

Too soon old, too late smart.

I did learn a lot from my father, he was a jack of all trades. I helped with many home projects and that info has helped me with many repairs now.

I helped my older brother work on cars, mostly cleaning parts for him, but I learned a lot. I've rebuilt 3 engines, and replaced a few clutches and transmissions myself.

When you do a good job of cleaning something, you inevitably learn how it works. Wise brother had you.
