    FROM JANO CARLON
    ATTENTION PLEASE
Do accept my sincere apologies if my mail does not meet your personal
ethics. I will introduce myself as Mr Jano Carlon, a staff in the
accounts management section of the above firm here in the United
Kingdom. One of our accounts with holding balance of £15,000,000
(Fifteen Million British Pounds) have been dormant and have not been
operated for the past four (4) years. From my investigations and
confirmations, the owner of this account, a foreigner by name Kurt
smith died in July, 2000 see this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/859479.stm and since then nobody has done anything as regards the claiming of this money because he has no family members who are aware of the existence of neither the account nor the funds. I have secretly discussed this matter with a senior official of this company and we have agreed to find a reliable foreign partner to deal with. We thus propose to do business with you,
standing in as the next of kin of these funds from the deceased and
funds released to you after due processes have been followed. This
transaction is totally free of risk and as the fund is legitimate and
does not originate from drug, money laundering, terrorism or any other
illegal act. On receipt of your response I will furnish you with
detailed clarification as it relates to this mutual benefit transaction. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible if
    you are interested.

    Hello Jano
May i call you Jano? many people do not like when i call them by their first name it is important to succedd by trusting each other.
without trust we can only hope to succeed in nothing.
of course you may not tell anyone i am involved in this venture. if my business partner Stuey finds out he will not like it. besides i may have to use his money too. but that is my worry at the moment and can not trouble you. jusst rest assured that I trust You jano and as an insider your position can only be great for if it is not great there is no hope to succeed..
we shall crush all that stand before us.
Yes please advise me full details we have to help you and your money find a way to freedom.
    best Regards

    Captain W. Eirdo

Have fun with this, but be aware that some people have been lured to Africa and have been murdered over these Nigerian email scams. There are some desperate people over there, and they'll do anything for money.

    Sid,

Have you been reading that Nigerian baiting web site, where they engage in a similar type of correspondence and then eventually get the scammer to send them a picture in some uncompromising position, some of those threads are hilarious, but I don't have the link handy....

If you, Big Boss Man that you are, send me $1000 deposit, then I shall look to show you the glory of all that the link can reveal.

I'm pretty sure this is the one (though the look has changed since I last read it): http://www.419eater.com/index.htm

What I remember liking was all the inside commentary, explaining how he took advantage of social customs and ways of speech, and even getting them to confess of the nefarious plans they have for thier victims, or side deals with the airport authorities and local police.

It's too bad for the Nigerian people that this is how they are mostly represented to the world.

I had an order for 20 PS2 systems from Nigeria and wasn't about to order them until the Funds arrived and Cleared my Bank. They sent a M/O and I took it to my bank and they took a copy of it and said it was legit. I still waited for it to clear before ordering the 20 systems for them, and sure enough the M/O ended up being a very well designed Fake. Mike : )
