Antique Slot Machine Show
If you live near Chicago Ill, On March 31, April 1, and 2 there is an antique slot machine and advertising show at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles Ill.I was there last November. Pretty good show. They have some Pachislo's and Pachinko's there. There were two dealers selling late model slot machines, Blazing 7"s, Triple Diamond. I asked them how they they could sell them, since the law here says that a machine has to be 25 years old to be legal. They said they worked with the attorney generals office in making these machines legal. The coin hoppers were removed, and the machine was set up as an auto credit only. The rest of the machine worked as normal. They also said that if you bought the machine the would sell you the parts to convert the machine back to coin operation for a dollar. They said they did this because when the machine was 25 years old you might not be able to find the parts to convert the machine back to original operation. I don't know if this is true or not, I haven't checked into it. The show has a website.
