How about "Phantom of the Opera"...I thought it was awesome!!! (although that could be attributed to my femaleness...but still, you have to think of your wife!)

Phantom is not exactly a party style movie. Thankfully my wife likes comedies.

Then try "40 year old virgin" or "Anchorman".

Why am I getting the distinct impression you've not been impressed with "Joes Apartment"?

Oh D, how could you put those two in the same sentence? Anchorman was bad, 40 year old virgin was good tho. IF you want to stay in the realm of silly comedies there is always Super Troopers.

I can't really say that I "like" Anchorman, but the massive erection scene gets me laughing out loud every time! (Feel free to censor, I could not think of a better phrase)

Phantom is a great movie, and since the cats could care less which movie I watch, it might be that. Or Support Your Local Sheriff, or something light.

Now, Support Your Local Sheriff or Support Your Local Gunfighter would both be great movies to watch. James Garner is after all an Okie!

I didn't know he was an Okie! Those are both very fun movies. He's good in anything he does!

Oh, then you're missing out on two absolute classic comedy westerns! Both with stellar casts.
