Default My Yobunago came today! but.. :(

A screw was loose so the right reel light fell out and jammed the reel on the first spin.. turned it off and bought the wierd screwdrive set it needed (star shaped) so 1st crisis averted.. but the sound has static coming through.. is this normal on the middle setting? I tried setting sound lower but just one notch lower and i cant hear the music/sound fx at all... should i just lower one of the 2 switches or will that just turn off one speaker while the other blares? please let me know

It's an IGT so yes some static is fairly normal. Unfortunately. The switches control the individual speakers. They won't/shouldn't shut them off though.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

Alot of times when static comes out of the speakers, it means the switch is not all the way in position. Try psuhing the switch upa nd down a few times, and then really make sure its fully in the correct spot before tryign again! I had the same problem with a machine a few years back!

That's one of the machines I found the volume and sound to be perfect. I hope you find that machine as pleasurable as I have. The music is beautiful and there is an intelligence to the design and play of that machine that made me really appreciate it. (I just went down and checked - put my ear right to each speaker. No static at all.)
