    Hi slugflyer!!

In order to change jsr difficulty you must first switch the machine off.
Open machine and insert key, turn to right.
Look on the inside of the front of the machine & midway up you will see a digit with a blueish button next to it!! the digit represents the difficulty its on at the moment.
Press the blue button to change difficulty.
Once you are happy depress your start lever.
The digit should go back to 0.
Then turn your key back to its normal position.
    Close machine & continue play.

I think that's right anyway!! Good luck...

I have more fun on my Beast Sapp since I set it to 3 than I did at 6. Sapp ends up fighting more often and I hit more smaller bonuses too.

I find this very true on my new Beast Sapp, i set it on lv 5 for the first week of its new life, hit 3 times big, and 1 small round all week.
Set it to lv 3 this morning at 10:00 am, and have hit 5 times so far its 10:07 pm . plus more small bonus rounds. a lot more !!!

seems to pay about the same smaller pay off but more offen.

What if i set it to lv 1 or 2 ??? or lv 6 ?
this is my first Pachislo slot are most of the Pachislos like the beast sapp, as far as play fun/pay odds ???

please state your how your Pachislo plays on 1-6 odds ,
ie more fun less fun, pays more pays less .

Depends on what you're after when you play.

1 (more challenging, lower odds)------6 (less challenging, higher odds)

I got JSR not so long ago and can confirm that playing around with the skill levels produces loads of different bonus rounds. It really does make a difference to the overall gameplay and I agree that level 3 is good for picking up the varied bonuses. A playing guide was only just added to the museum a couple of weeks back and this might give you some clues (albeit it's in Japanese) and Gaku's site (BigBear) has a downloadable user manual specific to JSR, detailing how to change skill levels, volume etc - probably worth asking him if it's ok to do this (I don't know if you bought the machine from him or not). As for what to hit in the chase sequence - I'm still working on that one myself! Perhaps if someone else knows they might give me a clue!

ha, my girlfriend's nephew came around earlier and sat playing the machine for a while... he seemed to be enjoying it until grandad found the 'eject coinage' button. the next 40 minutes or so were spent putting coins in and ejecting them repeatedly.

he managed to jam the machine up a treat too, the actual coin slot wouldn't 'reset' and i kept getting an error message whenever i tried putting any tokens in. eventually managed to get it running again though. note to self, make sure you tape up the button next time.

Level 6 is more for the player, level 1, the house wins.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

I've added some more info on the payouts for JSR in the museum. Basically, you tend to get to see more varied stuff the lower the level, but get more Big Bonuses the higher the level.
