Nishijin Monroe Automoatic Shooter

Hey guys, I have a Nishijin Monroe that I've owned for many years. Doesn't get much use, but the last time I tried to use it, the automatic shooter will not launch any balls. The knob rotates just fine, when I touch the finger ground, I can hear the contact (or relay) engaging, but it will not shoot. It makes a deep clicking sound and the ball striker (?) pulses but will not strike.

Everything else on the machine works perfectly.

Any ideas?
