Jurassic Park better then new
This is a follow up to the now closed thread "Jurassic Park dropped on its head by UPS"
With a lot of help from my Uncle Johnny who is a big wig at Audiovox. We were able to track down an engineer at NPM (Nippon Pulse Motor) in Japan. The motor was discontinued but they still had a sample left in stock.
The couldn't sell it to us without permission from Kyoraku. That took a little doing, but to make a long story short, the new motor in now installed and ready to go.
It works perfect.
We were able to take the old one apart now that we have the replacement. It turn out there was some gear damage causing a dead spot.
Thanks to rubberratt and Rik1138 and everyone else who alerted me to the issue and help with videos and stuff.
