What is the center mech there on king of darts?
Yeah, I’ve got a Vicky Chance (2006?) model with a ton of nails. Also several 90s hanemonos, 1 kenrimono (Rhapsody), and 3 aerepachi (The President, Penguin, and Apollo 1) are all full of nails. And of course Tenryu Infinity, and Thunderdragon Z hanemono. Below are some videos of P-Numa vs King of Darts, check out the video to see the center features. Feedback is welcome!

    My thoughts:
P-Numa has a cool chunky device to open and close, but that is about it in terms of aesthetics. The spinning ball drops wouldn't stand out next to Tenryu Infinity.

King Of darts has a super cool center feature and I like the minigames at the tulips on the left and right.

If someone was offering me one or the other, I'd definitely take King Of Darts.
Oh how I wish it wasn't ridiculously expensive to get one shipped.

Indeed I have! It's a great game for a home machine. A dreadful game if you're looking for pinching money in the parlour, due to the odds and difficulty of it...However with the advantages of unlimited play at home, definitely one for the collection. There are a lot of good light and sound productions.

Make sure you watch a good amount of the KAIJI anime first, as this is the machine that Kaiji is up against in the show.

EDIT: It is NOT a simple spinning drop machine; The last level is actually a slot feature designed as a clune. That's all I'll say for now, definitely watch the show 1st.

Comes at the expense of less gimmicks, animatronics, LCD screens, but make up for it with better more involved gameplay!

I’m trying to decide between King of Darts or P-Numa... decisions decisions

Definitely get P-Numa. King of Darts is blink and you'll miss it. Basically a series of very quick 1/3s until you hit it. Get balls, run to exchange counter.

    Anime Version
In the anime, this machine is known as "The Borg" and is famous for wiping players' bankrolls. It is a 3-level clune, which has been made extremely rigged by the parlour owner.

The owner tries many illegal methods such as remotely tilting the clunes and controlling the entry jaws, which are overcome eventually by Kaiji's quick thinking, perseverance, or strokes of luck.

The 3rd level is the hardest, as the winning hole is guarded by strong air jets that push the balls away easily. However, through an unhealthy obsession to win, and lots of time, the win is achieved. I will not say how, as this ties in to the productions on the real machine and I don't want to ruin too much.

    Real Version
In the real version they've had to adjust things, obviously for legal reasons. The clunes are not tilted, but the 'air jet' is present, in the form of the 'tentacles'.

The 3rd level is a slot feature, not a kenrimono part. Vast majority of the time the tentacles are up, blocking the hole. However, landing in any other hole can give productions or reach patterns. You'll hear dialogue from the show, while your ball is held inside the losing hole. After which, either the ball will drop down and lose, or the tentacles drop down, and you get the win production, just like how Kaiji got it. It looks and sounds great! Has adjustable odds too, from 1/15 to 1/9 IIRC.

Default JT-Comatz Trading Co., LTD Alibaba pachinko vendor

    Here’s my experience with JT-COMATZ:

    First the good:

    1. Responsive customer service
    2. Decent prices depending on title.
    3. Heavy on the packing.

    Now the opportunity to improve:

    1. I bought 4 games through them. After paying 2 were no longer available. Took awhile to get a refund.
    2. I ordered in March, I got the machines today. The order was placed under the expectation that goods would be delivered in April. Normally, I wouldn’t care but these are for a show tomorrow and I have no time to clean them.
    3. Told me to accept the new change date of May in Alibaba to avoid late delivery stat. I never agreed to this and did not accept. When I mess up, I feel guilty and go out of my way to make up for it. No sense of that beyond an apology.
    3. Despite the packing the cr adapter was destroyed (it sticks out. Shouldn’t have been attached. Something else broke off too).
    4. I may be nit-picking, but installing the power supply in the ball hopper pisses me off.
    5. Not clean to the standard of other vendors.
    6. No key.

They may be able to get you a title at a decent price but be prepared to wait. Ordering from Japan, boat to Taiwan and slow delivery to the US is just too much (and it got held up in customs after). I ordered from them to give them a shot, as my vendors had old stock and couldn’t beat their price on these machines as they had inventory purchased at a higher cost. I would be open to buying their in-stock older machines, had I not recently found a way to get those at lower prices.

There will be an easier way to source just about anything Pachinko within the US any day now

Sara sent me a list of some new inventory they have in stock. They finally have some hanemonos! Both Tokio Deluxe and Tokio Premium are awesome; the original just a bit more than the sequel. The Heiwa Tropical Raised digihane is highly recommended naughty good fun, I also have good things to report back about that Heiwa Love girl plus, if you like pretty girls, ketchup, and cats; it’s a must have!

Yeah, she asked me how to post here; I guess they can’t figure out how to make a profile.

Anyhow, she sent me another list of machines they have in stock; I don’t have any of these so can’t comment on them. That “Bow wow” dog themed machine looks pretty cool though! CRA大わんわんパラダイスASB

Yeah, Sara keeps sending me new lists every few days of their new stock trying to entice me to buy, however I’m good at the moment with all the machines I bought recently in SC.

She just sent me another list yesterday; a few duplicates but looks like some cool machines. FYI; they have that Tropical Raised machine you were asking about!

Checkout their website; there’s translated title, machine stats, YouTube video links, a wealth of info! You probably have to ask them about the price; unless it’s listed on Alibaba.

    http://www.jt-comatz.com/en/product?category_id=4

However I don’t think it’s updated with ALL their new stock. I’d just ask them, Sara is a pleasure to deal with and responds quick on WhatsApp, and can provide you the PDFs of their newest stuff. Best think to do is research the machine you want first then contact them. Most of their machines are in the $198-299 range; with a few outliers.
