Whats this that seems to be missing from my machine?

So i was looking inside my aruze corp Jirokicki big chance machine, i pulled out the hopper and saw what looks like some type of electrical hook up but with nothing hooked up to it. Its on the rigjt side of the hopper and it looks like four metal arms sticking off the back of the machine then some wires going into some sort of plug. Looking at the hopper, it doesnt seem to go to it at all. Supposedly this machine is the very same as the Hanabi machine but with different front glass. Maybe whatever is missing is the reason the machine isnt spinning its reels?

That's probably the overflow warning system. In smaller parlors (those without token handling systems), a small plastic tray goes there and the prongs stick into it. As the hopper fills and overflows into it and it fills, the tokens touch the prongs completing a circuit and stopping the game until it's emptied. In larger parlors, the plug below the tray is removed as well as the bottom of the tray and the tokens fall into the token handling system.
