    Default Change credits / tokens required for play.

    Good evening!

    My fiance is crazy about slot machines so I surprised her last week with our first Pachislo machine. It's called Marine Battle and says Mizuho at the top.. Well after playing with it a day with her and our boys I decided we needed another one so I got Ghost Rush and it says Aruze at the top.. They both look almost identical except for the graphics but I've found a difference in play.
    On Marine Battle I can insert a single token and hit the spin lever and play. On Ghost Rush I have to insert a minimum of 3 coins to be able to spin the reels..
    Also if I'm playing them and have them on credit mode on Marine Battle if I get under 3 credits (1 or 2) I can bet 1 or 2 and spin. On Ghost Rush I have to add credits until I get to 3 or hit the cash out, get my tokens then add more. How can I change that? I would like consistency between the two so when people play there's no complaining.. On one machine you can play down to your last token and on the other you can only play down to your last 3.

    One other thing if it's not too much trouble, is it possible to re-calibrate the reels? Sometimes I think I get nothing and it pays out, other times I think I've hit the Pachislo lotto and I get nothing.

    Any help / advice is greatly appreciated.. Thank you.

    (I think I've successfully attached a picture of the 2 machines if you are interested)

    one is 1 2 or 3 bet, the other is max bet, there is no way to change that.

    if your playing one token you are only playing the center line, two tokens you are playing 3 straight lines

    and max bet you are playing 3 straight lines and the other angle combinations

    Yeah I understand that, I think I phrased my questions poorly. On one machine (Marine Battle) I can play one, two or three lines. On Ghost Rush when I have 0 credits in and I add a token, the center straight line lights up but I can not spin. I add a second token and the lines above and below the center line light up but again I can not spin. It's not until I add the third token and all 5 lines (center plus 2 above and 2 below) light up that I can spin. I still have the 1 2 and max bet buttons but cant spin with a single or even 2 tokens.

    they used the same doors and buttons on 1,2 or 3 as they do max bet.

    easier in production that way

    So even though with each token each bet possibility lights up individually, the reels light up, and I can select bet one and it will subtract one from my available credit I cant spin because they designed it like that? Why put the bulbs in that light up the possibilities? I just got way less excited about these things. I wanted to have friends / family over to play and have tournaments or something but 2 seemingly similar machines are apparently very different. Giving each person 100 tokens isn't the same so there's no way I could put a person on each machine and they have an equal shot.. Frustrating.
    My best guess was that something was wrong with something that connects to the spin handle where it would only allow the handle to be operated when 3 was entered.

    The payout lines are different on Ghost Rush, than most machines.

    It pays the center line, straight across, and both diagonals. It does not pay the top and bottom lines, straight across. It pays the top and bottom lines in a "V" shape, using the center reel.

    Check out the picture of the payline diagram.

    There is nothing wrong with either of your machines. Marine Battle was made in 2000, by Mizuho. Ghost Rush was made in 2001, by Azure. Several manufacturers used this cabinet style. Mizuho, Azure, Eleco and Universal all used this cabinet and put there own games in it. Thats why the buttons are there and don't seem to do anything. It's cheaper to make the cabinet to fit many games and manufactures. These machines were only designed to be used for a max. of two years and then they must be removed from the parlors.

    I wanted to have friends / family over to play and have tournaments or something but 2 seemingly similar machines are apparently very different. Giving each person 100 tokens isn't the same so there's no way I could put a person on each machine and they have an equal shot.. Frustrating.
    All these machines have different gameplay, odds, tokens payed out, Bonuses, etc. that's what makes each unique and fun to play.
    The only way to give them a fair chance is to play the same machine.

    The payouts I get (now).. I just dont get why line one would light up and the machine seem like it is ready to go but I cant just "bet" on one line. It's all or none from what you are saying.
    I dont care for that.. If someone in the Dallas area has one more similar to Marine Battle I'd love to trade.

    Can anyone tell me what the switches below the counters do? Looks like they go left or right and they are right under the counters on the power supply on both machines.

    Thanks

    The 1,2 and 3 light up to let you know how many of the three required tokens you have deposited. Most all machines are "Max Bet", (3 tokens to spin).

    The two switches are on most machines also. One is to eject all tokens displayed on the credit meter after winning a big bonus. The other is to do a reset of the machine after winning a big bonus. I keep mine set to "Off", so I keep all credits and do not have to reset the machine. I can just keep playing after winning.

    I posted the info in one of your other threads

    **edit** will add it here as well

    Do you mean these switches:

    Two switches on the power supply:
    - One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
    - The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

    For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position. The for off and on are:

    無 = off

    有 = on
