Need Help

My pachislo, newly aquired, does not work!
It continues to reject the tokens and , if I force it to accept the token and register bets, the reels begin to turn , but I cannot control how to stop them., they eventually stop together. Please help me to fix this problem. It is a AristoCrat Replay ( Monister machine) thanks in advance

pictures help . does it display any errors ? do the reel stop buttons light up when you spin ? there is a small board usually mounted on the left side inside the machine about 3x5" it has a fuse on it that fuse controls the reel stop buttons it maybe blown . do the reels all turn at the same rate of speed ?are there any odd noises coming from the reels ? when you turn the machine on does the solenoid on the coin acceptor snap shut ? most problems are caused by storing units for long periods of time which causes connections to corrode try disconnecting connectors then reseating them it does help.

The solenoid does not snap at all, there is a strange noice from the reels, that fuse on the 3by5 board connected to the reels in good.I do not notice any error codes, the lights on the front do light up, when you push to handle up or down to start the reels.Yes, the reels all turn at the same speed and the same direction. does any of this seem to point to a area to inspect? thanks in advance

ys, the buttons are lit(red) and they change to blue when the reel are turning and when all the reels stop(all at once) they return to (red) I have to force the rejector to accept a token 3 times for the machine to do this, and then hit the knob up or down to get the reels to begin to turn , there is no music and you cannot make the reel stop indepentantly of each other.Both the credit and win are 00. A lot of these machines must be played Max bet, which means they will not spin unless you have deposited three tokens. How are you 'forcing' the tokens in?

I had a machine that rejected more tokens than it would accept. The others just dropped into the front tray. Is this what is happening to you? The fix for mine was to clean the token channel with some Q-tips dampened slightly with alcohol.

Just to understand correctly, you cannot stop the reels by pushing the stop buttons at all. Nothing happens when you push them... the reels keep spinning until they stop on their own? Have you disconnected the wires and then reconnected one at a time?

when the reels are turning, they will turn red to blue and if you hit any of the other buttons, 1bet,2bet,Max bet or knob the will turn red and when released back to blue. They are red in the stand by position, when I hit any buttons you can see, that they are working as the green or red led are flashing when I hit the button. What does CP mean in the win window ? As when I take the unplug the coin mech this shows up and will need to be reset to remove. Thanks in advance,

No, yet I know they are working as the leds on the inside board are blinking when I touch them, they do change colors though! Thanks for any help,

I push the part that the coin solenoid would energize, and when the coin goes by the sensor it does credit the machine. Yet this solenoid should be activated when the machine is ready to accept a token, do not know what inhibits this coil! Thanks for all your help guys,

I was working on this machine this morning and when I turn on the test switch, I get an HC code in the WIN window, what does that mean? Thanks again Herb

HC is a hopper check error. You should check the hopper to make sure there are no jams. Then you should try to turn the door key to the left to try and clear the error. If that doesnt work, try to find the reset button/switch inside the machine to do a full reset.
