Default Quick question about the 7-segment LEDs on Julie cell

    Hi Pachipals,

Just got a Julie Cell from Sir Arby

It is everything you all said it would be !!! I LOVE it.

Just wanted to know what the two 7-seg LEDs do (if anything) I hit fever last night and they seem to just display random junk. Should these be doing anything ?

    Thanks for reading.

I know what you mean. Some of my other cells display something like F8 and such during a Fever round, but Julie seems to just display what, to me, looks random. I am sure that it means something, but just not to me. Good question rubberratt. Maybe there will be a good answer...

It's not random, but it's still junk.

It's some kind of code giving status during fevers. As far as I know, no one knows what any of it means.

Right, by random, I mean that the "characters" seem to be made up of parts that make no sense to me, such as they are not letters or numbers, which is what I meant by "random". Not that they are just random every time. My bad for stating it that way. I am sure that they mean something too.

So when people come over to play and they ask you, just make up what they mean. Nobody else will be the wiser!

I got two questions about he Julie pachi, thought I would just toss them in here real quick:

    1. What styles of music does it go through? I know it's supposed to have many songs that play throughout.

    2. Are the pinball flippers really interactive and part of the gameplay? I was reading on Ebay about it and they made it sound like you use the flippers while controlling video pinball or something... I was confused

The flippers inside the chamber operate automatically. Sort of a reach. A center turntable pops up and then the flippers (4 of them) will try to shoot the ball or a number of balls that may go onto the playing field into it. If a ball goes into the turntable the game play increases in intensity.

The reaches can go to a "Roller Coaster", "Under Sea Adventure" or a big Ferris Wheel.

There is another routine where Julie Parachutes down from the sky.

It is a LOUD machine and has burned up two sets of the smaller volume controls. As soon as this one is back in stock I am going to order a couple for my Very Loud machines. :

The white flippers that you see on the front of the cell do NOT move. The red ones (two sets) just below the video screen move during certain time AND can be controlled using the Chance button, but only when you are in the correct reach does the Chance button light up to make it active. Really cool machine. Too bad mine is all torn apart right now... (getting ready to build the cabinet, but that is another story)...
