    Default Azteca Returns questions

I've only played a couple hundred tokens but I did read Gaku's guide. I'm really confused about what control you have over things and what I'm supposed to do. I've had a screen come up that seems to show two paths to go down. Is there a way to choose or is it just random? I also had a screen that had various things cycling through (whip....) It seems to pick one when I hit the spin nob and goes into an Indiana Jones type booby trap scene. He gets killed each time. Is there something I'm supposed to do so that he survives or is it just random? There was also something called Azteca roulette that came up but I have no idea what I should do there. Are these things really that complicated or are these just gimicky animations to entertain you with?

Most of the time you don't have control of what happens, you can pick the whip or other items, but the end results are all random.

You also get to pick the music when Doggie Jam does his DJ thing.

It's a fun machine with a lot of different things coming up on the screen

Darn! I should have picked this up at (local) auction when I had the chance, sounds like a fun machine!

The Outlaw is just as much fun with a western theme.

If I had to get rid of either one, I would take it over Azteca Legend.

I checked out the pictures of your nice collection.
My mom has the same toy slot machine, poker I believe.
Do you use most of these?, How about the stove?
if you get all of them spinning at once does your house shake?

Yes I play all of them, some more than others, the kitchen is my staging area until I can find a spot for the new arrivals.

I turn them on in groups from 1 to 5 on a powerstrip, I've never turned them all on at the same time

If you stop all three reels at the target indicated above either corridor, that's the path you take. Supposedly, that way the dog charactor will find his girlfriend, and the bonus faster. I've never survived the booby trap scene either.
If you haven't grown up by age 50 ... you don't have to!

Oh yea you'r in Florida, the extra weight of the Pachi collection shold keep the home from going mobile in a strong wind! I owned a mobile home while attending college (LSSU in da UP) I can only imagine it full of Pachi. It would have doubled the value of my old can! Mine was an old college beater. I had 100's of tacks in the walls, where the previous owners hung posters. the skirting rattled in the wind, windows rattled when a car stero drove by.
My staging are is the living room, we can't hardly get through now, Wife is giving me "THE LOOK" I am moving to the game/weight room soon. after the rolling stands are finished.

I guess the question though is do you have any control or has the machine already determined where the wheels will stop?

You have control over certain aspects of the game. Namely the jac games. Over standard play though, it's all random number generated. The outcome has already been determined. Remember these are not video games, they are gambling devices and as such, designed to ultimately take your money and/or tokens.

These gambling devices are much more fun to play however and interesting to watch and listen to and so on...

OK I figured out how the challenge stage works on Azteca returns. There are 3 different challeneges. and 3 different items. When you have the rolling boulder challenge you have to hit the spin nob when the skateboard is up. He then rides out of the tunnel. Hit it when the dynamite is up for the closing spike doors and the whip when you have to swing across the chasm.

Here are brief explaination of Jac, thanks to Gaku at http://www.gaktradinginc.com/01home/02glossary.htm

Jac: The symbol of "Replay" turns into a Jac during the Bonus Game.

Jac Game: A Jac Game pays out 15 tokens. After a Jac-in, the machine automatically keep bringing on Jac Games.

Jac-in: To enter an Eight-Jac-Games by hitting three Jacs during the Bonus Game.

He goes into a more detailed explaination when you visit the Glossery.

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum
