    Default Out of the closet...

When I first started, all I purchased was pachislos. I had no interest in pachinkos. However, I decided to gamble an get an Arby surprise choice pachinko (Fever the King). After my first fever I started to lose interest in pachislos. Top Gun was next and I stopped reading all of the pachislo threads. Spiderman Neo caused me to stop searching eBay for pachisos. I now must admit that I am more pachinko than pachislo. Am I the only one to convert from straight pachinko to bi-pachinko/pachislo?

Correction: That should read "Am I the only one to convert from straight pachislo to bi-pachinko/pachislo?"

Nah same thing happened to me, but mine started with an Arby Thunderzone, and then an Arby StarWars.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

I think it is each to his own. I bought pachislos first then a couple of pachinkos due to what I read on this board but still find myself playing with my pachislos more. I enjoy pachinko but still not as much as pachislo.
    and a few others.

I still have and love both. Different machines, different game play, but still games.

When you gaming list features both types like:
    Star Wars
    Star Blazers
    Top Gun
    LOTR
    Fever The King
    Batman
    Thunderzone
    Apollo 1

    Harley Davidson
    Spin Luck
    Dragon Dice
    Super Blackjack
    Betty Boop
    Thunderbirds
    Terminator
    Metal Slug

It's really hard not to like them all!

Fighter Pilot: Try a pachinko and see what I mean.... Top Gun would be perfect for a Fighter Pilot.

There are proably people out there we like both quite equally

and I am not saying I don't like Pachislos - as I quite like my Sinbad Adventure.....

It's just that when I discovered Pachinkos - it was truly an amazing experience and very addictive!

I am really looking forward to my next Pachinko (and many more I'm sure!)

I aslo started with 'slots'. I bought the first one for my mom who used to enjoy playing a friends 'one arm bandit'. I picked it up cheap at a local auction house. I then bought one for me, soon needed another to play with my wife, Then needed another so when my pal stops by, and another for experimenting....
I just bought two vintage pachinko's and enjoy them very much, its like having a nice old car that needs a little attention to keep it running smooth. I would like to try a modern high tech pachinko. maybe, they might be more addicting.

Pretty much the same as some of the posts above. Started off with a Thunderbirds pachislo & the original terminator - but then got a Star Wars pachinko. All my purchases after that have been pachinko (Rocky, Spiderman NEO & Top Gun), but still enjoy playing the Terminator, but I sold my Thunderbirds.

I started with a Pachinko game in the mid-70s that I paid way too much for to go in my pool table room. Always wanted a slot machine and a couple years back came across a Pachislo at Sam's Club and grabbed it. Came home Googled "Pachislo," found this forum, and started buying an assortment of both machines.

I like 'em both equally but in different ways.

I've never played a pachislo, but they don't really appeal to me. I'm like a packrat when it comes to shiny objects.

Lookit the shiny balls bouncing through the shiny pins! Woo!
