I don’t know Sankyo machines nearly as well as Nishijin pachinko machines. The based on the lay out of the front and of the back of the Nishijin if I’m not mistaken it was manufactured around 1974. The back of the machine appears complete but it is going to be a major cleaning job. The entire original electrical is still attached. The primary shooting spring looks intact. Almost all of that plastic on the back should be clear. I don’t even want to think of how much dirt, grease and soot are built up in side the back. My wife and I like to refer to machines in this bad of shape as smoke eaters because they look like they were used as a smoke stacks. All the boards of the frame look like they have water damage so those would have to be replaced. Speaking of water damage the cell has some real bad ghosting. The only think going for it is the exterior chrome is in real good shape. Even the chrome ring on the cell has rust. If anyone here does buy it; I would recommend it only if you plan on using it for parts to fix up some other vintage Nishijin machines. I hate to have to suggest putting a machine down like that but sometimes its better for the machine to just put it out of its misery. Its sacrifices can help some of it’s brethren to live longer happier lives.

    Hay BB,
I don't think Mike would like this one. He is more into the Nishijins with semicyclic action.

    Eric,
I know your love of the vintage pachinko and it is sad to see one literally rotting away.
The entire payout mech is missing on that other one, I might have enough parts to rebuild it but not at that price.

The one with no back was made by Heiwa. Now that would be and interesting experiment. See if Nishijin back components would line up and fit properly on the back of another manufacture’s machine. I currently have a Sankyo machine that I was trying to clean…

I might give that one a try if I have too many troubles putting it back together. I’ll have to take an inventory to see if I have enough spare parts to do it. I better thank you now for the idea Mike, because when my wife hears it she’ll want to curse you. If it works then that will mean even more machines rolling through my house.

LOL sorry for the idea. We on this forum have a way of making work for each other, some will remain nameless, but it was one of our FEMALE regulars, who has a passion for pachinko.
