I think that is for the Digi-Slo feature.

Lights flash back and forth, if they stop in the right place you are sure to get a bonus round soon.

I bought one of these awhile back, pretty nice machine, but most Net machines are nice! The led under the reels is for the bonus rounds. IT counts what round and game yoru on, ie 2-4 or 3-5 for example!

It looks very cool. I like the sleek black look. It's the same reason I like my old Bellco Regal. It's all white, very clean, very distinct.

It is the work horse frame of Nets, it is the same as Zett-30, Slo-Para-30, Great Z.,HoundDog, and a few more.
Built like a tank, and last like the Hover dam.

I am looking at the Hound Dog on e-bay by the same seller. All of the Hound Dogs that I have seen are chrome, the one currently on e-bay looks black. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

The Suprise looks black as well. Is it just the photos or are there chrome and black cased machines.
