    Default Popeye & The Terminator

    Hi everyone,
    Just bought 2 new pachislos from eBay (UK). They are Popeye & The Terminator. As a complete newbie to the scene could anyone enlighten me as to the position/site of the volume control switch if indeed they have one!.
    I have read other posts re Volume control & the decibel level is incredibly loud. Previous players must have blown their ear drums in the Japanese arcades. It actually detracts from playing them. I've muffled the speakers with a towel in the coin tray but it's still way too loud.
    Could anyone point me in the right direction. Unfortunately i don't have any images of them as there is a problem with my digital camera at present. If i could find the "switch" it would be most appreciated. From reading other posts it looks like i'll need to purchase the v.c. switches mentioned. Would they be appropriate for these models?. Popeye has 2 door tray speakers & The Terminator has 3, 1 in the tray & 2 in the upper aspect of the door if that helps.
    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    TheDoc.

    Which TERMINATOR is it? The ARNOLD version or the CARROT TOP version?

    I have the original version and the volume pots are located at the top left hand corner on the back of the cabinet. it is located on that curcuit board and it is 2 seperate switches.

    Many thanks RKnarr01. I traced the wires & eventually found the 3 switch. Put in in the opposite direction & it sounds just as loud !. I've emailed the company which supply v.c. switches & it looks like i'll be another customer.

    Hi legobricke,
    I found the switch by tracing the wires onto the circuit board. Easy when you know what your looking for. Its the latest version IGT 2004.

    Hello arbycoffee,
    To be honest i've hardly played the T2 due to the problems with volume control. I only got the machines 3 days ago & about to place an order for the switches. I'll let u know probably in a couple of weeks once i've sorted them out. Crisp screen though. I've been playing more of the Popeye & it's excellent albeit with a towel muffling the speakers!.

    Are Pachislos volume louder than Pachinkos then for the 3 volume standard switches?

    Pachinkos = BATMAN - ROBOCOP - PINK PANTHER - THUNDERBIRDS 2
