Default Conversion to quarter and token play

How do you convert games so that they will take quarters or tokens ?Can all games be converted ? How about making the reels stop like a real Vegas slot machine ?Frank

    Frank,

You'll find lots of info on both those topics by doing a search of the forum. Most of us wanted to do both those things when we got our first machines. But the more you get into pachislo, the less you'll want to do either. It would take too long to explain the whole thing here, so I suggest you do the search and read the posts, before you do anything. You'll probably change your mind and end up putting all the money you'd spend on the auto stop and tie up in quarters into more and more and more machines.

Once you get past the need to make these American slots, you'll soon realize... these are a whole lot more fun. Like Gary said, we've all been through it and in the end, we've all or at least most, have decided that it's much better to play pachislo's than American slots.

Pachislo machines are hands down superior when compared to American Slots. And on the quarters vs tokens : go with the tokens. I too (just a few weeks ago - when all this started for me) wanted to convert it to quarters, but I took the advise here on this forum and am sticking with tokens. They are cheaper, and the money you save you can spend it on another Pashislo!!!

I agree to some point they are more fun that Amwerican slots, but if say I were to go to Las Vegas and they had pachislo machines in one corner and Vegas machines in the other, Id play the Vegas ones. I really enjoy gambling on American slots, but woudl rather have pachislo for the home. The thing ive never liked much about pachislo is the payouts are either bells and replays or nothing. You never hit the third payout, whether its watermelons or whatever. Cherries come into play once in awhile, but dont offer much in return. I just wish the payouts were a bit more on the normal play and less on the BB and RB plays.

I agree with Miles. In my limited experience, payouts are slight until one gets into the bonuses. I have rarely hit the watermelons, for example. Cherries are pretty rare and don't pay much. It seems you get the replays often or there is either an apple or a bell (on my two slots) that line up to give the 15 payout. As said, the pickins are somewhat slim otherwise. :smt102

Set it on Level 6 and have 2,000+ tokens and practis your hand eye and than you will milk it dry. I have watch my wife on a New machine to her, work it and after about 2,000 tokens, she can take it into Bonus rounds almost at will, it is uncanny.

I fight the Harley machine to do some paying off, She can just milk it dry. I use her to sell machines, I get someone looking at a machine, I ask her to give it a spin, They lose their spit watching her make it puke up all them tokens. (I see in their mind, she can do it, than so can I)

What it comes down to is play time, she will play these machines 3 or 4 hours a day, you get one great eye to see the reels spin.

On a strange note: I had gotten my wife a full size video poker IGT machine with 5 games and double up feature. She got it a 8 weeks early because it was to big to hide. I started her with a 97% payoff chip, she said it paid off to easy, so I changed it when she was not around to a 84% payoff and reset, She was going to be loosing her skirt now.

Well she in the last 18 days is 3,400+ tokens credit ahead, I am thinking of sending her to the indian teepee to take their monies.

The funny thing is She has never played poker or knew the %s of combos to win. before getting this machine. I have learned not to try to teach her anything, so she works number really good in her head, and I don't think she even knows it.

    Default Pachislo Concept

I seem to be missing the concept here. I now have three machines and find them all boring after about five minutes. What skills am I supposed to apply here ? I understand trying to stop the reels and coordinating eye and hand, but getting the excitement going seems to be difficult.

Wow! Thanks for that link, Arby! :smt023 I've learned a LOT today reading through that. For others heading over there, be *sure* to click on "PACHISLO WORLD" on the left side. That is where all of the interesting information on how to win at these machines is at! Fascinating stuff!!! :smt038

    Default Conversion

I did some more research today, made a few adjustments and I will be sticking with the tokens. Thanks to all for the help and explanations. Does anyone have a coin mechanism for a GOKUU by NDT ?
