This book on selling on ebay I bought. Like an Idiot as a New Pachinko owner This stuff is all common Knowledge what this So called book is is coppied material that you can hardley Read or even see the pictures. I don't know anything about this book, but this site is the best place to get all the info you need. The information here has been gathered over the years, much of it by trial and error and lots and lots of cooperation among the membership. It continues to be an ongoing process.

Unfortunately, we get a lot of new members only after some damage has already been done... such as buying a bad custom that you thought was something else, paying way too much for a 'basic' machine or buying literature when everything you need is here... and it's free.

Thanks for the heads up, I hope it will help someone else.

Ah if only we could ensure all people new to pachi's find their way here first...

Unfortunately it's not a perfect world and we can't make that happen,

Obviously by now you will have realised that if anything is worth knowing about Pachinko or Pachislos, then it will be found here,

Think you will have to mark this one down to experience and hopefully you didn't pay too much for the 'book'

Got me For $30.00 I havent Replyed too the seller yet. As others go on the comments Posted .. its been a few others there that got nailed as well... If it would have been any good advice i would have posted it here in the group... the only advice i seen when i closed the book. what an idiot for buying this lol... well you live and learn and if i can stop the bidders there buying im gonna i did buy a good machine off there .. and bid on a few others but you have too watch the delivery charges as well . thanks for the Replys and have a good day...

When I see listings like this one that are laced with spelling/grammatical errors or look like they're written by a third grader, I run for the hills. Another tip off indicating a thief on eBay is when they overcharge for shipping. There's no way it costs anywhere near $8.00US to ship that pathetic book from Canada.

When I bought my third pachinko machine the seller gave me this book with the sale too. She had bought it to help her figure out why her pachi wouldn't work right. Obviously it was not much help to her as the "problems" with her pachi turned out to be just a couple of minor issues.

So sorry to hear your experience. Please make sure you leave Negative feedback to the Seller (they cannot leave negs to you under eBay's new laws, so don't worry). This will at least serve as *some* warning to potential buyers.

Also contact Paypal - they may offer a refund for 'goods not as described'. She says it is 'persoanlly written and photographed' - that should be fairly easy to dis-prove. Contacting Paypal and putting in a claim here costs you nothing, and may get you $30 back. And it'll annoy the Seller who may think twice about offering such crap!

There are f#@$ crooks everywhere - even within pachinko.

If you click on the first link that she posted, there is a nice little footnote by the site host. I guess that is where she copied the materials from.

Thats good news. I know in the past you used to never give bad feedback because you would get it in return. Thanks for that info!!

Sorry about the bum purchase. It seems we all learn the "hard way" from time to time. You'll make up for it with what you learn here.

Sorry to hear you got ripped off. I agree with the others, file a "not as described" with Ebay, dispute it with PayPal to get your money back, and leave negative feedback.

Also if you are so inclined I would compare the book you received with the information on Dan Reed's website Dan's Pachinko Data Page (as referenced by Dawn above) and if it's a copy of his information let him know so he can file a complaint with PayPal and have her suspended for copyright infringement.

I told her i did want my money back and she said her post says no Refunds... i also posted a bad feedback if you look on ebay now no one is bidding on this and its no longer a book like she sold me... but its still the same . bull sheets with staples...
