Mephisto Question

Hello All,
A while back I asked for everybody's thoughts on what was then my 2nd machine purchase. King Camel or Mephisto.
On the advice of everybody, I went with the King Camel.
King Camel is a great game, and today I got the Mephisto.
I love it, I love the music it plays, kinda reminds me of one of my favorite bands...Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow back in the days of Ronnie James Dio on vocals. I have always liked that medieval type of music.
Anyways....
I came across the Yamasa website for the Mephisto and there is something called a "wave flash" in the game.
I was wondering what anyone can tell me about that?
In the picture it almost looks like some effect that happens in front of the reels, like a Neo Planet type of thing.
Whatever it is I have not seen it in the short time I have been playing.

I'm not 100% sure but based on other games its the lighting behind the reels that will make those patterns. I'll try and find out more.

Yeah that has to be it.
There is only plain glass in front of the reels.

I have never seen it happen on mine. If I would have known about you wanting one, I would have sold you mine. Not that enthused about it.
