Default Help in identifying a Sankyo machine (M-222)

I am a new member to PachiTalk and thought it best to join as this seems to be a great community of people. I am a great fan of Vintage machines but have recently acquired a mid 80's Sankyo machine in very good condition and would like to ask for some help locating people who own or collect this model/ style of machine as I have a few questions.

As the PachiTalk Mission Statement explains "Adopt a Pachinko", I had to save this one from it's owner. He was asking $25 because it was not scoring and it was too complicated to fix. I am just happy he did not try as there was nothing wrong with it, he just did not know anything about Pachinko. After a quick inspection and a few shots of compressed air my wife was really making a lot of noise. http://users.rcn.com/dehager/Temp/Movie.wmv

    Any info would be appreciated:

    - Anyone own this Sankyo model?
    - What is the year and name, (I tried "ocpachinkos" guide but had no luck with the translations)
    - Anyone have documentation on this model or year machine?

Firstly, I'd like to welcome you to PachiTalk .

The yellow sticker in the 5th photo says ガンコおやじII which is pronounced 'Ganko Oyaji Ni' and translates as 'Stubborn Old Man 2'.

There's nothing listed on Sankyo's website for this machine, but their archives only go back to 1994, and this one is a fair bit older than that.

I can't seem to find anything of any value searching on the common Japanese pachinko museum sites either. One of the sites (pachinko-club.com) did recognize the name as a Sankyo pachinko machine, but didn't have any other information.

It's a late 80's model, very little info on machines that old. I have one in a similar frame from 89:

    Welcome!!

If daverob and compirate don't know and can't find more info on it, it probably doesn't exist. Beautiful machine!
