Default Star Wars Pachinko - Ball less play help please

I have had my 2005 Star Wars pachinko for nearly 4 years which is still great fun to play. On checking the colour photocopied manual that came with it, there is a ball less play button described which allows you to play through the in game videos.Unfortunately, I can not find the button as described on the manuals machine layout photo. Is there such a button and is it easy enough to access.? Many thanks in advance.

    Welcome Aboard

I don't have such a thing on mine. I can only think that someone wires up one of the buttons on the front to the detector in the start pocket.
The only buttons I know are the chance button, The ball loan and card return buttons and the reset button on the back. Is there any pictures of it in the manual?

    Welcome to Pachitalk...

I've had mine for about 6 years and haven't seen any feature like that???
I do have several pachi's like Drukenclam has mentioned with a "jackpot" switch, but haven't seen anything to play all the videos.

The way these are programed there is no way to just "play" the videos. I have seen buttons hooked to the start pocket trigger (easy to do, I have done it to a Starwars cell and my cutie honey) so you can spin it without shooting balls but this is not a feature that ever came factory on any machine.

    also Welcome!

    Welcome to PachiTalk!!

I've never heard of a factory fitted button to play through without balls,

You say you have a colour manual, it would be interesting to see some pics from it, if you are able to post them?? usually there are no manuals as such, just photocopied ones that people have cobbled together and these are usually in black and white, it could be that you have got one we have never seen here before??

There are of course ways to play pachinko by using less balls, rather than no balls, these would involve adapting your pachinko to Cyclic or Semi-Cyclic, this enables a small quantity of balls to recycle over and over,

And you can play a lot of modern pachinkos by getting to the Fever Round and then stopping shooting balls and just watching the Fever Video scenes, but that doesn't involve any 'buttons'

Perhaps someone 'modded' their own machine somehow and their own instructions were then copied at some point and passed along??

Either way, it's all quite interesting!!
